This mod adds the Tamil Chola Empire as a playable culture in the Medieval Era with their own Legacy Trait, Emblematic Quarter, and Emblematic Unit. No other cultures are replaced, and the mod does not change anything outside of this specific culture.
For a more detailed write-up of the design and inspiration for this culture, see here.

Playstyle:
Economic: The reduced buyout cost on Naval Units and the immediate availability of the Taraṇi Pōrkkappal should be more than adequate to establish an early naval presence with the Chola. Each Taraṇi Pōrkkappal will most likely more than pay for its upkeep through its special ability to increase Trader efficiency in the cities. In addition, the Nagaram will not only provide a significant increase to Money production by adding value to Luxury Resources, encouraging the construction of Market Quarters, and augmenting the potential benefit of the navy via Traders, but can also help expand the reach of city districts by doubling as a Hamlet.
Influence: Continuing to foster strong trade relationships with Independent Peoples and with other players while building a large navy to protect those interests will positively impact Influence production and facilitate future expansion and reform.
Military: Quantity over quality is going to prevail with this culture, as a lack of any military advantages on land will have to be remedied by throwing money at the problem. Note that the Taraṇi Pōrkkappal is weaker than the Cog and cannot spend as much time on the open sea, so safety in numbers and keeping the fleet closer to the coast where it can be well supported is key.
