This mod will also only work for steam users, due to file access permission issues with Microsoft Store games.


***CHOOSE ONE DOWNLOAD OPTION - DEPENDING ON YOUR REQUIREMENTS!***

MOD OPTIONS:

  • NoTurnLimit - Removes the turn limit from the game, once the turn limit is reached, the game end will not trigger.
  • 100ExtraTurns - Adds 100 extra turns to the turn limit before triggering the end game screen.
  • NoPollution - Removes the pollution limit, the game will not end after high levels of pollution are reached.
  • x10Pollution - Increases the game ending pollution threshold by x10, up to 500k from 50k.
  • NoTechLimit - Removes the tech limit from the game, which prevents the game from ending after all techs have been researched by an empire.


You may combine these together depending on what you would like to enable or disable - Choose the correct download below containing your preferred choices.

This will overwrite any other mods that change "Amplitude.Mercury.Firstpass.dll" and is incompatible, which is why multiple mods come packed together as part of the same download.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  • "Amplitude.Mercury.Firstpass.dll" & "Assembly-CSharp.dll" is to be placed in the folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Humankind\Humankind_Data\Managed
  • When asked, click "Replace" for both.
  • You may need to locate your Steam\steamapps folder if you chose to install steam or your games to a different drive


The mod also contains backup files if you wish to revert the mod - "Amplitude.Mercury.FirstpassBACKUP.dll" & "Assembly-CSharpBACKUP.dll" - Store these somewhere, and then remove "backup" and replace the modified files with these ones.

You may also delete the .DLL files and then "Verify integrity of games files" via steam to revert back to the original.


Once the steam beta version becomes the official stable release, this should hopefully continue to work.

Hello, this mod is crashing my game new, fresh installed game

This mod currently NOT working due to latest Humankind update (came out approx 16/09/2021). It seems whenever the developer of the game will release an update/patch, no matter how big or small. It will make all mods incompatible until the mods themselves are updated.

Its not working for me: Playing the beta version 1.2.132 and installed the files to the correct folder. But i dont see any options ingame. Any ideas how to fix it?

There are no options to select, the options are in which version you have chosen to download.
Once in game it should just work and prevent the game from ending at the normal points.

It's a nice mod, but it contradicts the dev's vision. There was little chance it was gonna be in the base game.

When your 600 turn game ends at 350 turn due to pollution sth its wrong...

Amazing work! Is it possible to make eras last longer? Ie increase science costs, keep production normal or lower, and influence normal. That way players can experience the cultures they chose in each era for longer. Currently I feel like I never get to appreciate the empire I'm building fully, and then suddenly I'm on to the next culture. And I have very little time to build units.

Hello,
this mod is crashing my game. When i start the game , its not loading, only a small Unity logo windows pop up, then closing.
Any solution or fix for this?

you're a pirate and that's why your game isn't updated to the latest beta version. prove me wrong by opting in to the beta on steam, then install the mod again. otherwise stop complaining that mods don't work on 1.0.x this goes for everyone

you might want to be aware that Steam has currently 3 different versions; One of them is one that doesn't work; It also happens to be the main branch. If you do NOT swap to beta it will NOT work.

I do wonder a bit how do you know specifically what version is pirate version, but that's not my business.

my first reaction would be to check if you are on beta branch of the humankind; RMB on Humankind on list -> properties -> betas -> 1.2.132 [this is one I am using right now and it seems to work].
Check it, revalidate files, mod it, and let me know if it worked. It will not work unless it shows [beta_1.2.132] [or the second version] next to Humankind game's name
